The greatest delay in finalising your claim will usually be the stabilisation of your injuries. Many accident-related injuries take approximately 12 months to stabilise.
The best prospect of settlement is at the Compulsory Conference. If your claim can be resolved at this stage, it should be finalised within 6 months of your injuries stabilising.
If your claim does not settle at the Compulsory Conference stage, it will usually take a further 12 months to proceed to trial.
