When people ask Kate how she chose her area of expertise, she says it chose her!
Kate is committed to understanding her clients’ very individual stories because that is the great joy of our work as well as an essential part of achieving the best possible outcome. Each case is as unique as each person and their circumstances.
After over 20 years in practice, Kate has also developed a passion for managing litigation efficiently. While each case must be investigated and prosecuted thoroughly, it must also be conducted as quickly as possible This is important for our clients to move on in their lives and it is also part of our ethical responsibility to the administration of justice.
Away from work, Kate has used her legal qualifications to assist community organisations including the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Queensland, the Australian Breastfeeding Association and the local Kindy
“In short, I am very passionate about the rights of Queenslanders” – Kate Avery.
