Workers Compensation and CTP insurers will often pay your medical expenses on an interim basis. This includes medical, pharmaceutical and travel expenses as well as any aids and equipment and home modifications you may need.
Physiotherapists and some other treatment providers are familiar with the system and can submit a treatment plan directly to CTP insurers so that you do not need to pay for the treatment upfront.
Some doctors believe they should not submit Medicare claims for treatment provided as a result of an accident for which you are making a claim. This is definitely not the case, you retain your right to claim expenses through Medicare and your private health insurer (if any) and we will ensure that they are refunded at the successful conclusion of your claim.
